Making the tomato sauce the ‘proper’ way does not actually take that much time and produces such a wonderful sauce that I think it is worth the few extra minutes of effort. Please spread the word

Thanks for a very good recipe for fresh tomato sauce! I am usually remiss about doing it the “proper” way, meaning peeling the tomatoes first! I did not know about using either the garlic or the onions but not both together – how interesting and I will always do it that way from now on -as well as telling friends about it! Love these little secrets! Like the recipe as I really love using fresh basil when I am cooking. Always like the pics – you make everything look scrumptious!! M x
